MA Department of Energy Resources to Host Biomass Stakeholder Meeting Tonight
DOER holds hearing tonight in Holyoke, MA to review a recent biomass study. Study may impact RPS Class 1 biomass eligibility.


Evolution Markets will be attending the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources stakeholder meeting on Biomass Sustainability and Carbon Policy Study (Manomet Study) tonight at 6:00 PM EST in Holyoke, MA.

 

The meeting will address the scope and policy implications of this study, which would potentially revise Class 1 RPS requirements for biomass generation.  A timeline for the policymaking process will also be discussed.
